Irvin Bomb is an artist, a naughty one, he enjoys life and the beauty that sorrounds it. He has the capacity to make beautiful pieces of art, moments where eroticism and time stopage collide.

His site www.naughtyart.com is an excelent example of the richness and new ways to express human desire and sensuality, and the best of all: it comes in the form of art.

Visit now www.naughtyart.com and enjoy Irvin´s work and the others like him, who are not afraid to paint what life is really about.

1.- Why erotic art?
Painting has always been something that I’ve been enamored with. The same is true for the female form. My two obsessions merged together in the mid 90’s & since then I’ve committed myself to painting erotic art.

2.- Tell us your way of working and your favorite techniques?
The process I work in can be summerized into 3 stages:

a) Penciling the underlying structures.
b) Rendering a tonal grayscale underpainting.
c) Oil glaze layers of color tints & shades while adding in subtle details.

3.- Will someday erotic art will be called for what it really is… art?
I believe it’s already begun…

4.- If you could only save three of your favorite art books, they would be?
Treasure Island: artwork by N.C. Wyeth
Legacy: Paintings and Drawings by Frank Frazetta
The Rembrandt Book

5.- What is the coolest thing you’ve discovered about pornstars, when they are posing for a work of art instead for a normal photoshoot?
The pornstars that I’ve worked with seem to have erased all of the negative conditioning from our society regarding sexuality. When I’m drawing a model who is sexually liberated the art becomes more of a collaborative project than a solo-created work.

6.- What other things besides erotic art do you like to paint and draw?

Urban landscape: http://www.naughtyart.com/

7.- Tell us please, which has been your greatest moment on an exhibition?
Launching NaughtyArt.com - the only online exhibition of my entire life’s work.

8.- Which are your favorite models to work with and why?
I wouldn’t say I have a favorite because all of the models are special & unique in their own way.

9.- Any funny-weird experience trying to explain to someone what naughty art is?
Yes, a girl I used to like who I went to high school with recently friended me on Facebook. I thanked her for setting off the spark that helped inspire my Naughty Art, but she was offended & deleted me.

10.- What will we see next in your career
and on www.naughtyart.com?

Currently I’m working on an erotic graphic novel for the site which documents both my painting process & the models experience posing naked for art.
