1.-What is the best part of punk music being reflected in your work?
Dave Naz: Some of the movies I've Directed for Vivid-Alt. have punk music in them: Circa '82 & Skater Girl Fever feature the music of Circle Jerks & Dwarves. Keith Morris (Circle Jerks), Don Bolles (Germs) & Jim Lane (Killroy) all make appearances in Circa '82. The titles I've Directed for Private feature musicians from bands such as White Flag, Germs & D Generation.
2.-This last years fetish is becoming a trend, everyone is doing whips and chains, spanking and enemas, etc…, Which is your opinion on this matter?
Dave Naz: Whips & chains don't do much for me. If the girl is getting spanked and has fake red marks on her and a cheesey "Ouch!" look on her face, it's kind of pointless. If the girl is getting an enema, I want to see it shooting out of her ass too!
3. - Why does Dave Naz is a photographer of sex and meaning?
Dave Naz: A lot of the work has a meaning to me, but it doesn't have to touch everyone the same way. If the viewer is entertained or titillated, that's just as important.
4.-Why do you prefer to shoot all natural girls?
Dave Naz: I love natural beauty and use make up to bring it out, not to cover it up.
I hate fake tits, hair extensions and collagen. They age girls way beyond their years. I like to put a minimal amount of make up on the girls and make them look fresh. I also like to dress them in non-porno clothes.

5.-What is the best part about directing movies?
Dave Naz: I enjoy the whole process (for the most part):
The concept, finding the girls, picking out the music, etc.
6.-Even in the most explicit of your pictures. There’s a charming, elegant, classy atmosphere. How do you do this kind of balance?
Dave Naz: I think it's keeping a high production value without making it look overdone. I like stripped down locations that have a raw look to them.
A lot of the "Glossy" images I see look so horribly stuck in the 80's. Let it die for Christ sake-- The hair, a pound of make up, 20 fucking lights.
7. - Have you ever been in a weird position because
of the work you do?
Dave Naz: Many of them. I'm sure there's a lot more ahead too.
8.-Tell us more about your admiration of Yoko Ono´s work?
Dave Naz: Yoko is brilliant. I love her music & art. Her conceptual art is so far ahead of it's time. I recommend the book "Yes" and the album "Fly" by the Plastic Ono Band.
9.- Outside your field of work, which are your other interests?
Dave Naz: I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend, Oriana.
Going to art openings and concerts together.
