1.-The pictures are extremely classy, even though they can make anyone nervous, ha ha ha, how do you achieve this?
When we started we aimed at changing the World of nude photography. The World of photography was mainly divided into Hard Core photography, Playboy style photography, with very elaborate girls, heavy makeup, and lots of silicone, and finally stylish nude photography. No one seemed to care about natural beauty, but the World was eager, and ready for it. In an age of plastic surgery, and silicone, people naturally react. It’s our firm belief that fake women are the byproduct of an industry in concert with the media, rather than a real need. There’re more men out there that prefer a natural breast, than a fake one, but the media did a good job at shattering women’s confidence. That was our first inspiration, because beauty is natural, and it always will be. I recall a gorgeous movie called “Brazil”. That is a fictional World we’re heading to.
2. - Met-Art is synonymous of perfection in different ways, sometimes there are others who try to copy it, ending in a lifeless picture, Met-Art pics are alive! Again tell us a little bit of that magic?
MetArt was the 1st site to use magazine covers to promote itself. It was a huge success. Soon after other sites started popping up with the same concept, and soon enough, the niche we made so famous was being cloned by hundreds of site that aspired to replicate natural nudes. The main reason why no one managed to really do so is that you still cannot copy style, and vision. The clones not only do not grasp the true philosophy behind MetArt, but on top of that just cannot get the same photographers, or most of the models. The copycats usually get the rejected photographers. If you were an artist, you would logically knock on MetArt door first, because it’s so much better, and so much more famous that any other site. There’re also instances of photographers that were literally created by MetArt, and “Betrayed” us, but unfortunately their success was always short lived, or in other instances their photography is so clinical, and cold that they do not achieve the same success. Other “Desperados” go as far as trying to copy the –art extension! Another milestone that MetArt achieved was to publish entire sets, not just a few handpicked images. The reason was not a coincidence. The photographer needs to maintain a certain level of quality throughout the set, and that’s hard. It’s easy to shoot 500 images, and then choose 5. Most photographers, including celebrated ones would fail at this. On top of that, people can be interested in a detail in an image that an editor would not choose. We empowered the consumer by letting him choose, and left our arrogance in the closet. Surely enough, 5 minutes later every MetArt copy, and more was doing the same. We don’t think that to this day the even know why they offer their customers entire sets, they just copied us. It’s the difference between a poster, and the real thing…We have texture, we have concepts, and ideas, we’re not flat, and reflect light on a cold piece of paper, we absorb that light, like a canvas.

3. - If you were able to describe Met-Art as a music record, or a book or maybe a movie, which it would be and why?
We think of ourselves as mainly classical music, or in short, timeless. We surely have hints of Pink Floyd, Metallica, and the Beatles here and there.
4. - One for the lady in the house, Eugenie (Dir. Of Photo.), Met-Art is elegant as hell but it’s also no holds barred, you think being a girl in the photography area made the mix possible?
Being a girl helps the whole team. Once again, we were the first site to let Women shoot other Women with a good deal of success. We were not looking merely for horny people, but also an educated crowd, and intellectually savvy. Over the years we have been lectured in famous universities, and art galleries. There’s an entire World out there to refers to MetArt, and it embraces all professions. MetArt is a cultural phenomenon with millions of visitors every day. We have women as members, and we regularly receive emails from girls. Many thank us for not being obsessed by silicone, some like the last one, use us for inspiration for getting in shape. Many painters use our images for inspiration. I think a woman completes the circle of perfection. It takes a while to get the MetArt mindset, as we’re so corrupted by fake expectations. At the end it’s only media manipulation, we’re much better looking as we are. Elagance is subtle.
5. - Everyone says: What does it take to be a model? But what does it take to be a Met-Art photographer?
It varies. Sometimes we see something in a photographer, but it might take years to make him a good 360 degrees artist. Rarely they are good right off the bat. We normally support, and purchase sets, and try to correct his way of shooting. A good set is made by many elements, we almost never find someone that immediately has all that it takes. Erro is a good example, he was rejected, but he listened to the critique, and came back as a complete artist, creating some of the most beautiful sets we have.

6. - There’s a good variety of girls in Met-Art: Brunettes, Blondes, Petites, Big Girls etc… Has Met-Art helped in a way that now there is a wild need for girls of different types (in life, art and entertainment)?
As we mentioned above, with millions of daily visitors it is undeniable that we create trends. When people see us at the tune of 300 million unique users every year, and they spend 5, or more minutes on the site, you can only imagine that we penetrate the collective imaginary. On top of that, we’re pirated like crazy, there’re hundreds of thousands of images that are out there on blogs, boards, sites. Maxim in Bulgaria, for example, just published (Illegally) our images on both magazines, and web. This is not the first time, the same thing happened in the Czech Republic. Playboy published (Legally) our images, and our models are the most sought after in the industry. There’s not a single editor out there that does not check MetArt daily. Models go around with our printed images to show photographers, private citizen try to book us for shooting their wives, and women want us to shoot them for their boyfriends. All in all, we probably touch more than ½ a billion people every year. That’s a lot of souls…
7. - You have made a style, and that brings imitators, how do you deal with it?
There’s really nothing you can do to stop imitators. Each and every nude site is a copy. Some more, some less, some completely. There’s no trademark that can protect us. Look the Beatles had a plethora of imitators, but how many ot them survived time? And on top of that isn’t imitation the biggest form of flattery? We only know of one imitator that approached us with intelligence, and that was Erro, with his own site. Now we’re one things, we work together, and he’s probably the 2nd best site out there, in terms of true success. The others often have a predatory, and aggressive approach. That’s why they often fail.
8. - How much attention do you pay to the other productions elements (clothes, backgrounds, props)?
In a way, I think 50% of the photo comes from the aura behind it.
We tend to leave lots of freedom to artists, we just correct a finished product with constant suggestions, and have no say in the initial shoot. We don’t want to tamper too much with their own vision.

9. - What other habits and hobbies do you have, what kind of things inspire you, in order to achieve the job you are doing?
Art, mostly. Foreign movies, in general. Music is part of it too, but that’s art too.
10. – Finally, why should someone join Met Art before any site else?
Because it’s the original site, and it’s the one that everyone looks at. There’s a reason for that. We’re simply better than others at choosing, and discovering, at making trends. On top of that, we’re often cheaper, and we offer more than anyone else, in many cases we offer services that others would make you pay extra for, or in 99% of cases others don’t have at all. We truly believe MetArt is on another planet, the other sites, in the best case scenario, offer a 1/3 of services / sets/ models at the same price, with an overall quality that is at best 20% / 30% lower. A Ferrari is always a Ferrari. You can make a Honda go as fast, but at the end it’s still a Honda, the magic of the Ferrari is just not there. It’s as simple as that. We realize that sometimes we’re a bit arrogant…
