1. - We really like your work, tell us more about MR. Evil, please.
Mr.Evil appeared in 2005. I've been doing photography for about 10 years. Mostly as an amateur. But suddenly I had a feeling that I could do more. And then photography became the biggest part of my life.
2.-How do you get inspired for the most gruesome of the pics?
I hate the mass culture: deceitful politicians, global corporations and so forth. Photography is my way to express my protest.
3. - Even though some pics are very violent, they have a strong sense of humor, please tell us more about this.
Humor is the easiest way to transfer emotions. Through laugh we fight the problems that surround us. Although not everyone understands the real black humour.
4. - Some of your work reminds me of record covers, Wich are your favorite rock groups?
As for music I am omnivorous. I like rockabilly, funk music, hip-hop, punk-rock as well; and Mexico’s Molotov to be added. I went to their concert in St.-Petersburg, and I jumped like a deer.
5. - Besides photography you have other artistic projects?
Yes, my dream is to shoot some real fun comedies. |

6. - Parody is an other ingredient in your work, tell us more.
Our main humorist Russian poet has got such a poem: It's not compulsory to be a poet but you must be a humorist.
7. - Can you tell us some secrets to produce this kind of photographies?, the suicide one it´s cool.
Emotions and definite feelings being transferred,
and it’s no need to spread the blood all around.
8. - Which are your next moves: expositions, galleries etc…?
Movie,movie and movie again. I hope it'll happen very soon.
9.- Wich are your favorite photographers, who has insipired you?
I like to examine amateur photo from boozy parties, not professional erotic pics. It's such a real trash. From the bottom of the heart.
